General information
As a global timber trading company, we affect many people’s life circumstances and our environment. We are aware of this great responsibility and contribute to positive social development through our actions. As a company, we want to learn about suspicious circumstances in order to clarify them and eliminate possible abuses. For this purpose, we offer the JAF whistleblower system as an easy way to report potential violations of rules.
How can a report be submitted?
You can use this form to quickly and easily report concerns or misconduct that you believe could affect our company or the well-being of employees or third parties.
Please note that this form should not be used to make false accusations. The reporting of knowingly false information is prohibited and can result in criminal penalties!
If you wish to submit a report verbally, please contact the Legal and Compliance Department at the head office in Austria (Phone number: +43 2266 605). Our Compliance team will listen to you and treat the tip and your identity confidentially.
It is possible to submit reports directly to the relevant authority. However, we kindly ask you to inform us of your concerns first. This enables you to contribute to long-term improvements in our company in an unbureaucratic way.
What happens to your tip?
By submitting the form, your report will be sent to the central Legal and Compliance department of JAF International Services GmbH, where it will be treated confidentially. After receipt of the report, we will send you a confirmation of receipt within seven days. You will also receive feedback on the content within three months.
Anonymity
We encourage you to include your name when submitting your report. As a whistleblower, you are legally protected from any form of reprisals in the European Union. You therefore have no professional or private disadvantages to fear. If you still want to remain anonymous, you have the option of entering an email-address that does not allow any conclusions to your identity. It is important to enter this (anonymous) e-mail address in the form so that we can give you feedback on your report!
